750 capped bottle bought at the brewery. Poured in the original Northmaen vase an unfiltered, gushing and cloudy dark amber-chesnut coloured ale with a two fingers slight beige creamy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Fair carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is mild toasted malts, sourish fruits, apples, peaches. The flavour is sweety and toasted malts, notes of caramel, ashes, sourish fruits, apples and a herbal hoppy bitterness. The mouthfeel is fizzy and sparkling. This medium bodied ale has a dry sourish bitter finish. An easy and very refreshing ale from Normandy.
