a beer is very dark with red highlights, the foam is low, it looks like a coffee. odor of alcohol, malt and licorice (see Chestnut) is released from the glass. in taste is the sweetness dominates the flavor and creamy but low in character and taste.

Bottle, bought in the brewery. Poured a deep amber colored ale with a thin light tan foamy head that had a very short retention, mid-sized carbonation. The aroma is fruity ( banana ) and a little sourness. The flavours are light roasted malts, nuts and a peppery taste. A medium bodied ale with a spicy and warming finish. An interesting brew.
