    Aroma: 10 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8

750 ml capped bottle, bought at the brewery, bbf 06/2020. Poured in the original Northmaen Vase an unfiltered and high cloudy golden-yellow coloured BdG with a two fingers almost white, fine and dense pillowy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Active carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is moderate malty, fruity, sourish apples and spicy, cinnamom. The flavour is sweety malts, powerful herbal bitter, rosmarin and spicy, cinnamom. The mouthfeel is round, very bitter and amazing smooth. The texture is watery. This medium bodied BdG has a long spicy and bitter finish. Fresh, very refreshing, a convincing Bière de Garde from the farm-brewery in La Chapelle Saint-Ouen, near Rouen in the Normandy.
