Happy Holidays from Central City! Our gift to you is perhaps our best beer yet – our Tenth Anniversary Barrel-aged Imperial Porter. A limited quantity of 900 cases, our Imperial Porter is blended from a small bourbon barrel-aged batch brewed at our original brewpub with a batch from our new brewery to encapsulate the synergy of brewery to brewery. Deep aromas of roasted malts and bakers chocolate combine with a silky full body, leaving you wanting more.

Bomber from Central City and at $12, scarcely a bargain. Pour was a murky dark brown under a creamy tan head, nicely retained. Toasted malt and dark chocolate for the aroma. Flavour also had the malt and chocolate, plus maybe some coffee and alcohol notes. Decent mouth. An okay beer, but not a $12 beer, and certainly not the best Impy Porter I've had.
