Brewed with orange peel and flavoured with saffron, this gruit will sure please a lot of people! This a very limited edition only 300 bottles will be available! Gruits are from the ancient times before they knew about hops, so they were using spices instead. Cheers

Pours very little head and has a very cloudy, orange amber appearance. Aromas are mainly tropical like fruits, mangoes, hints of orange peel. Flavours are nice and sweet bitterness of lemon-lime, orange peel, tangy and sour notes. The gruit is a welcome presence as I was not too fond of the Beau's version. This one seems a bit more sweet so it balances well with the odd bitter type flavour of the gruit. Tingling sensation and full bodied mouthfeel. Sweetness and bitterness is well balanced. A good blend and tasty brew.
