Our Honey Brown Ale will please almost anyone, even those who don't normally like beer, love this one! Which makes it a great beer to get people introduced to craft beer. It has a nice lovely light sweet finish and velvet texture. Some people detect the Honey flavor profile and are surprised when they learn that there is no actual honey. It's refreshing in the summer and comforting in the winter which is why it has earned the Flagship title. The first Cassel Brewery™ recipe to come out of the kettles. I have modified it slightly afterward but the same basic recipe remains. This brew was designed to please almost everyone, even those who don't normally like beer, love this one. It has a nice lovely light sweet finish and velvet texture. ALC./VOL: 5.0% MALTS: Marris Otter & Honey Malt HOPS: Czech Saaz & Fuggles BITTERNESS: Low - 24/100 COLOR: 14

The beer pours a murky reddish-gold with a thin light tan coloured cap. The aroma is caramel, yeast, grains, floral hops, and weak notes of honey. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is sweet honey, caramel, toasted malts, and grains. -

Reddish/brown coloured pour with the thinnest of heads that leaves no lacing. Caramel and nutty aroma. Sweet caramel malt flavour with a fruity and honey background. Mouthfeel is watery. Has a weird aftertaste that I don't really like.

A great gift from PaleAleRider for my birthday, a growler from the brewery and my first experience from these guys. Pours a rich clean amber colour with a frothy warm cap, great retention and lots of dirty lacing. Apple aromas with some mild sweetness. The honey notes are more apparent in the taste with some caramel and a decent grainy malt finish. Goes down smoothly. An easy drinking Honey Brown which is a step above the Sleeman's version.

From a growler purchased at the brewery in Casselman, which was bottled earlier that same day. Poured a pretty clean red/brownish colour, with a big foamy off-white head, which dissipated to a thin layer. Good carbonation. Aromas of honey are apparent, as well as roasted malts and spices. Maybe a bit of a syrupy smell too. Watery mouthfeel, a bit disappointing. But some nice tingling on the palate and no offensive aftertaste. Flavour is about the same as aromas. Definite honey taste, with some milder spices and the hops are well hidden. Pretty good. looking forward to trying their other brews.
