The Carrabassett Summer ale joined our stable of beers in April, 2003. This Kolsh beer will delight and refresh you. We use a high proportion of wheat malt to give it a thick head and light body. The Carrabassett Summer Ale makes a great addition to all things summer: BBQs, tunes from a speaker in the window, frisbees and the sound of crickets. Not a bad way to spend an evening.

A nice summer ale. Solid golden brown color with a thick white head. Very nice flavor and a hint of spices that make is a very smooth taste and even nicer aftertaste.

OK first off I think I got a bad botle of this beer..as I poured it very carefully it produced a monsterous head..in fact 80% of the pint mug was filled with head..the beer I can actually see is pleasant enough hazy gold. The aroma is still pretty good very wheaty..pleasant sourness, The taste however is overwhelmed by the CO2..some wheat I can make out. Mouthfeel is pure carbonation. Not drinkable
