This spiced amber was brewed with Pilsner and several specialty malts to give it a deep malt character, spiced with sweet orange peel, chamomile and cinnamon. It was hopped with Fuggles, Goldings and Hallertau to balance the malts and accentuate the spices. The hops and spices will take turns dancing across your palate.

I tried this at the Raccoon Lodge Brewpub. Had a nice spicy aroma, but kind of weak. Hazy amber color with little head and almost no lacing. Average, light body. Very crazy spice flavor! Bites you right away, unlike any other amber I've had before. Fairly malty, but the orange adds some nice spice, along with the chamomile and cinnamon to make it more interesting. Interesting, but not something I'd want to drink much of.
