Pours clear, dark, reddish copper, almost mahogany, with a fairly thick buff head. This is a wheat? Fruity aroma has wheat and citrus tones plus a malty underpinning. OK, it’s a wheat. Flavor has fairly bold wheat, citrus, malt and woody tones plus more than a hint of caramel. Some pear hops out in the finish. Hey, it’s dawn somewhere - and some dawns are red.
