Maybe one of the only average beers on my recent visit to Carlyle. Straight forward stout. Black as the night sky. In the night sky. Burnt toast without the jam, smoke and dirt. Very full mouthfeel, almost chewy. Sounds odd I know. no metallic flavors, which have been noticeable in the last few stouts ive had. Big plus for Carlyle.
