This beer is......ruby red. You had no idea that was coming, did you? Other than that, there is nothing about this English bitter worth saying. Typical aroma and taste, although weak in both aspects. Better than swill.

This beer really didn’t do much for me in terms of either taste or aroma. It wasn’t bad in any ways, just rather plain. Easy to drink though, so that was good. The aroma of light fruit and sweet malts. The flavor profile was pretty much the same. The thinness of the beer was a bit of a letdown. Simple, easy drinking beer. Didn’t have to think too hard about this one.

A Brownish-red tinged body. A white friothy head at piour that dissipates rather quickly. Suppose to be a bitter? A lot of malt and very little hops.

Cask conditioned at the Aidensfield Arms, Goathland. Copper coloured. Fruity (blackcurrants) and relatively malty aroma and flavour. Smooth mouthfeel. Nice.

I didnt love it, but i can work with this. Its mostly malty and hops are mild .Poures ruby... nah, a copper color, small head...Aroma likened to wet hay, newspapers....Caramel and fruity malts, maybe plum.... not that sweet, more body than sweetness. Medium-full body, wet leathery mouthfeel, crisp finish, a relaxing beer

This beer pours a delightfully bright red colour. moderately sweet at first, smoothes out to a well balanced malted mouthfeel and finishes with a soft touch of hops.

Poured a brownish red with generous white head and a good amount of lacing. The aroma and taste were strongly of malt. There was a medium mouth feel with good carbonation and good body to balance the ale out. I could see this beer being enjoyed with a roast on a crisp fall day.

Cask handpump at the Elsinore, Whitby. Red/brown colour with a cream head. Fruity and hoppy aroma. Taste is lightly roasted malts and some fruit, some caramel, quite sweet and dry. Not bad.

kinda reminds me of a newcastle. deep "ruby" red with a white to off-white head & good lacing...appearance was the most impressive quality to me. not a whole lot of flavor to elaborate on. nuts?, malt, and maybe honey or something that gives it a little sweetness...just a little. aroma: nothing sticks out to me. mainly malts. a little hops bitterness to the taste but its not dominant. Yeah...i definatley detect honey here. mouthfeel is thin but not watery. pretty much what I expected from this one. overall: average IMO. a decent ale. not too bitter, not too sweet, easy to drink.
