Start with malted barley grown in the fields of Scotland where wind and rain meet a strong brewing tradition. Then hops lend that full flavor and distinctive fragrant aroma of well-hopped beers. Then, add in the fact that the ingredients are organic. Notice the golden color and the signature clean, crisp taste of this world-class pale ale. The fine pale ale in this beer is not only recognized as one of the finest organic ales in the world, it is also vegan friendly. Slainte!

Pours a clear amber with a thick but not persistent white head. The bottle fizzed like nobody’s business when I opened it. Aroma is crisp and malty with just a hint of banana, not very strong. Flavor is rather wan, malty and without complexity though there is a nicely bitter undertone. Texture is smooth and just a little tingly.

A "Trader Joe's" purchase. pours a beautiful clear sparkling brilliant yellow. Flavor is not all that exciting, slight hop aroma, hints of bitterness and biscuit. Just a beer that I suspect will disappear from the market due to the lack of repeat customers.

My friend brought this over to dinner last night. It is quite an unremarkable beer. There is a faint pine resin hop and a flash of caramel taste and aroma, but there really isn't anything other than that. The mouthfeel is thin and watery, severely undercarbonated. The color is nice: bright, burnished copper color, but there is barely any head/foam. A vigorous pour produces some fizzing on the surface that quickly fades. This beer was just good enough to not be bad. Very rarely do I come across a beer that is this forgettable. He said he picked it up at Trader Joe's, so take that for what it's worth.
