Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8
Pours a hazy, barely translucent, light honey golden with a very thick ivory head. Growler fizzed quite a bit when I opened it, so have a thirsty towel handy. Malty aroma has a crisp, fruity overtone, mainly pear with some apple and a snip of banana, somewhat cider-like; a hint of yeast makes its appearance as well. Fruity flavor trots pear, apple, banana, and - is that pineapple? - across the palate, along with malt and yeast. Texture is firm and smooth, though not all that fizzy. Put up your white flag and surrender to a crater.
