This beer is a domestic and I present my assessment based on that condition. I find Bud Ice Light to be a leader in the field of light beers. It has a more robust flavor than Miller Lite and Coors doesn't even compare. Upon opening one it presents a light aroma representing the malts of its base. When the first sip rolls across the tongue the fulness missing from other domestic light beers lets you know you are drinking a beer with flavor matched only with regular beers and even some imports. One of the better aspects of Bud Ice Light is that the flavor is consistent with each ensuing beer. I find this beer to hold its own at parties and event especially combined with bar-b-que. I saddened to hear that it has been discontinued. I am now at a loss for a good regular beer and unfortunately am scanning and tasting my favorite European selections to settle on a new regular. Bud Ice Light you will be missed. On a last note I feel that Anheuser-Busch did not promote this beer enough to let the beer drinking public across the country really give it a try.

Pours a nice clean/clear yellow color, some carbonation, tiny white head which fades quickly. Not much sticky lacing at all. The aroma is kinda malty, grainy/ricy. The taste is slightly sweet, grainy/ricy. Light Body. King of beers my butt! wish A&B put a few dollars into making this pea water taste like beer.

this beer was one of the best bottle tasting beerss that was out there - and i have tryed a bunch of them -it went down smooth -did not leave a rutting boar taste in your mouth after you drank it and it gave a good buzz at the end - unlike many of your other beers - way i look at it if you like a beer that has an after taste you might as well let some one else drink it and you fall up with 2nds from them - for you dont have any taste buds left and it would taste about the same to you.

All you beer connoisseurs can just shove it! Every beer dosen't have to taste like German beer! Water this.. and water that... who gives a flip what you think? If you don't like it, don't drink it... find something else and quit spewing off like as if your tatse buds determine what makes a great beer! Your taste buds suit you just fine... they're not mine and I'm glad! Your taste for beer is different than mine! Not everybody likes the strong beer tasting beer! I prefer Bud Ice Light and they've cancelled making it. So I'm frustrated and hating the world right now!

Since most ice beers are greater than 5%, why isn't a light ice beer still only 5%? Colour - clear gold. Aroma - weak malt. Mouthfeel - smooth and watery. Flavour - acidic. Overall - great for getting drunk!

This was not a bad beer, very crisp and clean. A tiny bit of colour, and malt aroma can go a long way at 4.1%. This brew took advantage of that and it pays off - somewhat.

This did not need to be made. Bud Ice was normal, and they made this anyway. This goes to show you that we have to beat a dead horse. Anyways, the beer was not offensive in any way, and I could have this again.

Wow, not much to say about it other than it is similiar to Bud heavy. Nothing daring here, just a cheap mass produced beer with higher alcohol content. you drink these to get drunk, not to enjoy beer.

This is a very smooth beer, and when you take into account it's a lite beer, it isn't all that bad. It goes down very well, especially ice cold. Again, if it was a pure lager, I would rank it lower.
