pours a dark black with some red hues when held to the light with nice foam head that hangs around for a while, leaves nice lace. The aroma is roasted malt, charred malt, bitter chocolate, sweet lactose. The taste is of sweet malt, roasted malt with bitter chocolate in the finish. The mouthfeel is smooth palate, light body, good stout. Note not a real fan of stouts.
