It is a beer with deep amber colour, rich and persistent froth. Produced without spices and with little use of hop to emphasize its malt vocation, Momus has a double character: stout and impressive, feminine and elegant. With notes of caramel and scents of toasted malt and cream its taste is full-bodied, round with a final hint of liquorice. To couple with red beef courses, tasty cheeses and a variety of cakes and pastries, or to enjoy in the evening, comfortably relaxing on your couch.

Thanks to Chopz for the share! :) Pours a nice size frothy beige head and has an amber coppery appearance. Ok lacing. Lots of sediments are clearly visible. Aromas are sort of perfumy with hints of yeast. Flavours are fairly sweet with notes of caramel and toffee as well as earthy and resin hops. Almost seems like a bit of cinnamon in the finish. Has a very light warming sensation. Slightly bitter mouthfeel. Pretty good stuff!

Best before 29/11/15. Pours a hazy deep amber colour with lots of yeast floating around. The creamy beige head has good retention and lacing all-around. Aromas of crushed red apples, mild caramel and hints of mint. Pretty much the same for the taste with some hops in the finish. Notes of orange and light alcohol in the nose eventually. The mouthfeel is smooth though, medium-bodied with the alcohol well-hidden. Probably their best brew.
