A cloudy orange yellow beer with a big frothy textured, an off-hite head rising above. There's great hang time on the head. It settles eventually into thick. Spicy nose. Bananas, cloves, some cardamom in the tasting. Light medium body.

Bottled (from lahoublonniere.be, As Villages Blonde). Hazy golden colour, mediumsized white fluffy head. Aroma is glueish, spicy and slightly fruity. with some mild maltyness. Flavour is glue, cooked vegetables, some spices, caramel malts and sweet fruits. Rather unbalanced.

330 ml bottle, simply called Brunehaut Blonde, Bière Biologique (Organic Beer), courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6.5%. Cloudy golden colour, big white head. Moderate wheaty aroma, hints of banana and cloves. Fizzy mouthfeel. The flavour is moderately yeasty and slightly citrussy, but otherwise fairly bland. Minimal hops. Not much here to get excited about. The alcohol is well hidden though.
