Malty, woody aroma has a hint of nutmeg, no surprise. Pours a clear, dark coppery with a thick and fluffy wheaten head. Flavor has a woody core and malty, earthy and cinnamon hints. Not strong, but OK, rather fall-like. Mouth feel has decent body and fizz. If not the best fall beer, worthy of at least a try.

Seems like a rather robust Carmel malt and hoppy amber/red ale base, with cinnamon and nutmeg present but not overpowering. Really like the balance here. Well done.

Sampled at 10/13/2012 at GABF. This spiced ale pours a light gold color from the tap. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and sweet, hint of pumpkin spices. A medium bodied spiced ale. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are herbal and earthy. Decent carbonation. A touch sweet overall and the spices seem a little muted. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.
