Full bodied brownish-black ale. Hints of roast and chocolate mingle with the unique Abbey ale notes of spice and dark fruit. Beatiful American hop balance

A dark brown, reddish tinged colored beer served in a goblet. A big creamy textured, tan head rises above and hangs around for a decent amount of time. Splotches of film aside the glass and a thin ringlet are eventually left behind. The body is full, creamy and buttery. The nose and taste are distinctive in the Belgian chocolate used. Sweet and slightly bitter. This one was a treat, well waited for.
