Hazy honey brown with a fist full of fresh raspberries floating on top. Aroma is sweet toasted wheat, caramel, and mild sour raspberries. I enjoy the fact that aroma only has the raspberry as an accent and not the main focus. Taste is the same use the exact description of the aroma and apply to taste. This was better than I thought it would and perfect for this Friday lunch on the Brewster’s patio……..Wait a second after I finished the quick review so my co-workers would stop mocking me the beer warmed up! Ah-oooooo. Brew has taken on the flavor of stale ice that your Grandma made in here down stairs freezer in 1985 when your grandpa was still alive to put in his “medicine” now she only brings it up to serve you ice water because your cleaning out her gutters on the hottest day of the year………..you all know what I’m talking about don’t lie to me. Powdery flowers, with a lip smacking dryness. WOW!! I had this beer at about 3.5 when after my first impressions then all went to hell, so I guess I’ll kind of average the cold vs warm beer to come up with a mark. DRINK COLD!!

Had this last time I visited Edmonton. I am pretty sure that this is the lager recipe with some raspberry juice or extract added at the kegging stage, and then another raspberry to the glass. I give it the rating for the lager, minus a point for poor attempts at novelty.
