Here's another summer beer. This style is the specalty of the City of Cologne. A pale ale but kept in cold storage like a lager. In Europe, only Kölsch brewed within the city limits of Cologne (Köln) by an approved Kölsch brewer can be called a Kölsch. So, savour this one while it lasts.

reviewed at some point during the summer, 2009. Typical pour with no head. Light gold brew, crystal clear. Mild fruit, apricot, grains - smells ok. The taste was pretty mild and not one that i am fond of, so I can consider this my last pint. Some fruit and the grains and malts come across a bit strong. Finishes clean. I think I did not let this warm up enough.
