On draft at the brewpub (as an imperial stout, no name provided) just before driving way up the hill to Flagstaff. The pour was deep dark black, chocolate colored head but somewhat thin, weak lacing. The aroma was strong chocolate, light coffee and roast. The flavor was strong chocolate, light vinous notes, caramel, and faint coffee roast. The mouthfeel was oily slick, a tad sticky, but warming due to a bit of alcohol heat. Not bad, but I tend to expect more when the brewer is able to amp up the abv like this.
