On tap at Mandag i Annen at Cardinal, a leftover keg from Nærbø Ølfestival. Very dark brown colour, moderate beige head. Pleasant malty aroma, notes of chocolate and heather honey. Rich and malty complex flavour, medium sweet, notes of molasses, chocolate and honey, hints of oak and smoke, moderate hops.

330ml bottle from Central City. Dark brown pour under a brief beige head. Caramel in the aroma for the most part. Nice job on the flavour, boozy for sure, sweet but not too sweet, some toffee. Thick mouthfeel. Sweet finish yet not cloying. Liked this one.

On tap at Highlander Pub. Pours a good size frothy brownish head and dissipates to a thin head. Has a deep dark amber appearance. Pretty good lacing. Aromas are light roasted malt, toffee and caramel. Flavours are mostly malts, hints of coffee and chocolate. There's a little bit of the rum hints in the mix. A fairly sweet finish on the palate. Good retention. Nice slick and slightly oily mouthfeel.

Pours a barely translucent, reddish chocolate brown with a thick and rather persistent tan head. Malt-cored aroma teases the nose with caramel, horehound and even fruity hints. Flavor has malty, molasses and caramel notes plus whispers of horehound and pear - a bit on the syrupy side, though. Texture is thick and firm, if not fizzy; woody hops sneak through in the finish. This one will have you barking.

Dark brownish-reddish color with huge light brown and longlasting head. Aroma is roundish and a bit sweet. Taste is a bit bitter but with interesting hints of cookies and berries, the honey is not noticeable. Aftertaste is a bit bitter with distant hints of caramel.
