A dry, strong, black beer. A rich, velvety stout that is pleasantly crisp.

pours a deep black color with a Thick head that that lasted quite well with some lacing. The aroma was of roasted malt. The taste followed the aroma with a dry finish. The mouthfeel was medium body with a strong alcohol presence. Note I am not a fan of Stouts or porters.

Pours a deep sable just a whisker or two above black with a nice tan head. Smoky aroma demands a taste with tempting coffee, chocolate and molasses notes. Flavor has firm smoky, roast coffee and chocolate notes plus hints of molasses and licorice. Firm-bodied texture has some good fizz. Double down on this one!

OK, not nearly as bad as I remember from a few years back. One of two beers (out of 7) that i'd bother to get again. A medium bodied dry stout, not on nitro, but still pretty smooth...but quite thin. Good roasted flavors and not much else.
