A unique take on an American strong ale–this digestif of a beer is copper in color and is brewed with cocoa and a mix of serrano and habanero chiles. It is sweet, spicy, and strong.

Big malty sweet, strong and quite spicy. The heat is nice but doesn't allow for much in the way of complexity. Not bad, but not one of my favorite pepper beers either.

Woo. Had this on tap at Breakside a couple weeks ago during their 2 year anniversary party. Pours a slightly hazy copper colour with a decent sized off white head. Nose is a little spicy, but hops are present. Taste is huge. Spices midpalate, strong hop presense immediately. Long, lingering finish.
