Our American Stout is a full bodied beast that is rich and malty with plenty of character. This bullish stout embodies the flavors of roasted barley, chocolate, and Munich malt. Its powerful hop profile is nicely balanced with the rich malts. Its creamy long lasting head never backs down. At 8.0 % ABV this stout warms your soul on any night.

Nice aromas of chocolate, coffee, roasted pecan and touches of licorice, they were all there but on the faint side. Standard black body, the head was on the thick and frothy side and it had fair retention and left spotty lace. Flavor started out as pure burnt, charred bitter coffee grounds, quite off putting for me. Thanks fully as it warmed and my palate adjusted that flavor backed off and some chocolate came out and some of the bitterness went away. Overall it was average, however i would be willing to give it another try one day..
