500 ml bottle bought at the brewpub. Poured in the original Braustelle stange a " hazy " golden orange colored ale with a one finger white foamy head that had a good retention. Soft carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is grainy malts, moderate yeasty, fruity, lemon and a slight sourness. The flavour is sweet grainy malts, aciditic fruits, lemon, citrus and a floral hoppy bitterness. The mouthfeel is sparkling and fizzy. This light to medium bodied ale has a lasting bitter finish. This unfiltered " Kölsch " is not allowed to be called a Kölsch because of the non-filtration. It is nevertheless a very nice and refreshing ale.
