Launched in November 2012, the Glutenberg Belgian Double is the last member of the beer family, but certainly not the least! With its 6.5% alcohol level and warm and spicy notes, this beer will definitely satisfy the taste buds of real Belgian beer amateurs.

4-pack of cans from my local Métro store. Pours a clean ruby-copper colour with a foamy-fizzy, small-bubble, beige head, average retention and some decent lacing. Fruity aromas of apples, grapes, cherries and pears with hints of alcohol and spices. The taste is unfortunately not as good with notes of weird cereal, almost metallic. Gets a little better with time with some of the fruit that comes back, and the apples that linger. Not as good as their APA and IPA, but still an interesting brew and the best brewery so far for gluten-free beers.
