This surprising hybrid beer, where the fruity yeast flavours are mellow and are quite dry in the mouth with a pilsner-like hopping, is sure to please your taste buds. Brewers have always experimented with various types of malt and hops, brewing techniques and, more recently, different yeasts. Our brewer had the idea to brew a traditional pilsner (Pilsner malt and Saaz hops) and ferment it with a saison yeast at low temperature. Cheers!

Pours a hazy light golden-orange colour with a mildly warm cap that is creamy, long lasting with thick lacing. Very yeasty aromas with orange notes. The taste has these orange notes as well, but then the saaz hops up the finish a little, giving this pilsner feel. It's not bad, but not something I would try again.
