Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8
Celebrating rating 100 from this brewery. 750ml bottle that sold quite fast. Alcoholic aromas warming with cacao-chocolate, nuttiness and hints of vanilla, even cherries. Very dark brown colour with hardly any highlights. The head is warm mocha-coloured, smaller with average retention and leaving some light foamy patches of lacing. The alcohol is a little bitter hidden in the mouthfeel, but the bitterness in the finish does blend well with it. Not too thick, with the hops cutting the sweetness in the end. The nutty-vanilla-coconut are all well balanced in here. Pretty good, but not my favourite dessert Impy Stout from them.
