Imperial Stout BA affiné 14 mois en fût de bourbon Weller 12 ans, Buffalo Trace 10 ans et de BLiS, bourbon ayant contenu du sirop d'érable. Immortelle est née de la dégustation de plusieurs échantillons provenant de différentes barriques et de différents stouts avec notre ami Éric de Clandestin, Cuisine créative. Nous avons ensemble décidé d'assembler trois barriques très différentes avec l'idée de créer un tout équilibré, intense, riche et harmonieux. À notre avis, c'est plus que réussi ! En grande première mondiale, vous pourrez goûter Immortelle en fût au Clandestin pour leur sixième anniversaire cette semaine. Joyeux anniversaire les amis !

Complete darkness with no highlights, a small mocha-coloured head, forming a ring of tiny bubbles. Roasted barley base nose with raisins, chocolate malts, cacao, alcohol and a touch of maple sweetness. A little thick in the mouth with some oiliness and fairly dry finish. All of the Bourbon barrel flavours are blending well, so nothing sticking out like a sore thumb. Dark fruits, rich dark malts, big bitterness, nuttiness, somewhat coffee. A pretty good Imperial Stout that is boozy, warming, bitter, dry, but yet - still drinkable and well-balanced.
