Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 8
Almost black colour with no highlights, a milky head that is chocolate-coloured with good retention and ghostly lace. Bitter cocoa powder nose with the roasted malt and some burnt coffee hints. The taste is full chocolate. Well-balanced between the bitterness and sweetness, all with the coffee. Hints of vanilla lingers. The mouthfeel has a little tart, but some creaminess and eventually, some building dryness. This is quite the Imperial Stout that goes down smoothly with very well-blended cocoa, coffee and vanilla.
