Enjoyed at the brewpub, pouring a deep brown with hardly any highlights, a small mocha-coloured head with thin lacing. Coconut nose over the roasted malt base, a touch of cacao powder and coffee. Beautiful taste, well-blended with the coconut, roasted barley, cacao, lactose and hints of vanilla. Not too thick of a mouthfeel, light silky with just enough hops to cut the sweetness, syrupy feel. Quite a nicely balanced Imperial Dessert Stout.
