Everyone knows that person, the one who would do anything for you; The shirt off his back, her last ten bucks, a place to crash. It's a comfort to know they're there for you. This time-honoured winter ale is just like that - reporting for duty with only the finest hops and malts, no extra spices needed! TASTING NOTES Warm up from the inside with this copper-brown winter ale! Dark fruits and candy cane accompany light scents of alcohol, rising up on medium-high carbonation. Notes of caramel, dates, and figs are ripe for the season, and rounded out by a clean bitter finish.

Bomber from Value-On. Poured clear, dark mahogany under a creamy ivory head, lots of carbonation with this one. Caramel nose, although not in a strong sense. Caramel flavour also, not overly sweet, plus some dark fruit. Decent mouth. Even finish. Not brilliant but acceptable. High ABV of 8% not all that obvious.
