Honouring the classic British ESB, and celebrating the innovations of the Yakima Valley, our Extra Special Bitter seamlessly blends BC-grown barley and the Crystal Malts of Great Britain with North America's most aromatic hops. The ESB is all about balance. Developed as England’s high gravity beer, from the family of beers collectively called “bitters”. ESBs malt quantities contribute to an overall “malty” perception, often with distinguishable caramel notes. While characteristics vary from one brewer to the next, beers throughout the style are very approachable.
