1) Blue Moon Mango Wheat brewed in the United States by Blue Moon Brewing Company (a division of MolsonCoors North America LLC) 2) Belgian Moon mango Wheat brewed in Canada by Molson Breweries (a division of MolsonCoors Limited) Just over a year ago, Blue Moon opened its new home in Denver’s hip River North (RiNo) neighborhood. In addition to its 20-barrel brewhouse, a 2-barrel pilot system allows for unencumbered possibilities to fill the beer menu. The 400-seat bar and restaurant has 22 revolving taps. The best-selling beer at RiNo is Belgian White, of course, but the tap list is full of cool surprises, like Lemon Drop Pilsner, Blood Orange Pale Ale and Iced Coffee Blonde. In addition to being a great sensory experience for guests of the brewery, the RiNo facility also serves as the unofficial research hub for Blue Moon beers that may someday make their way onto retailers’ shelves. Cue Mango Wheat. The No. 2 best seller at RiNo is brewed with mango puree and a hint of honey, which lends a mild sweetness and tropical notes. Bright and sunny with a cloudy wheat haze, the thirst-quencher earned a Great American Beer Festival medal in 2016, confirming what strong sales already indicated: Mango Wheat is a winner. Riding the coattails of its success in Denver, Mango Wheat nudged its way into distribution this summer as part of the Brewmaster Sampler pack. Now it will hit retail in standalone six-packs starting in September. When you pick some up, try it with chicken tacos topped with mango salsa. And next time you’re in Denver, visit Blue Moon’s RiNo location and help us find our next new beer!

Pours hazy golden with a nice eggshell head. Aroma produces juicy and sweet mango plus fresh wheat. Flavor brings the same. Texture yields decent body and perky fizz. Is "Blue Moon" an earworm?

Pours a hazy golden color with virtually no head, the aroma is citrus & bread, very faint. The taste has faint notes of citrus. Was expecting more. The mouthfeel is light and nicely carbonated.

The beer pours a hazed metallic gold with a thin creamy off-white head. The head lasts a while but there is no lacing. The aroma is dominated by sweet mango notes with wheat, cereal, and light spices in the mix. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is a battle between the mango and the wheat and the loser was my tongue. There is a bitter flavour I can’t put my finger on but it kills the beer.

Brewed in Canada under "Belgian Moon Mango Wheat" by Molson. Pours a hazy light golden-orange colour with a creamy warm cap, good retention and creamy lacing. Beautiful mango aromas with hints of other tropical fruits and wheat sweetness. The taste is more like natural ripe mangos as written on can. Nicely balanced lightly-dry mouthfeel with a crisp clean finish. Gets a tad rich, but overall quite well-brewed and fruity.
