Pours an insane amount of frothy creamy beige head and has an amber/coppery appearance. Thick dirty lacing. Aromas of light toasty and bready malts, hints of caramel and earthy hops. Flavours are mostly sweet, breads and light toasted malts, subtle yeasty notes. Some caramel hints and a bit of earthy and resin hops. Smooth and slick mouthfeel. Good retention.

Bottled on 09/05/16, so keeping the French side of the Belgians, with the date (day/month/year). Pours a hazed amber colour with a light beige frothy head, good stay with some foamy lace. Fruity caramel malts in the nose with some sweetness from the Belgian yeast and stronger hops than usual for this style. The malt is watered down in the taste, even the yeast with again the hops being a little too strong. Notes of mild dark sugars and fruitiness. Missing the bar a little here.
