A blend of American and Belgian brewing styles for this year’s Saint Me day beer. It pours a hazed medium gold colour with a generous foamy off-white head which lasts throughout. The aroma is very yeasty, definitely a Belgian influence here, followed by notes of tropical citrus juices, and a hint of biscuit malts. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with average carbonation. First thing I taste is pine resing, which gives way to some grain notes, followed by some tropical fruit juice flavours, almost similar to ‘Five Alive’. Still not a fan of these juice bombs…..I want beer, not breakfast juice! -

Thanks to Chopz for this one. Pours a fairly big frothy white head, thick dirty lacing. Has a hazy orangey appearance. Aromas of citrus and floral hops, some Belgian yeast notes as well as pine and subtle resin hints. Flavours are very fruity and juicy, more of the citrus and floral notes, some light tropical hints. Pine, grass and some yeast also make an appearance. Smooth and creamy mouthfeel. Pretty good overall.

Hazy golden colour with an orange hue. The frothy slightly off-white cap has good stay and creates thick foamy lacing. Big juicy IPA smell at first with the Belgian yeast and oats. Then, some grassy notes from one of the hops sticks out a little. The taste is not fully juicy, but has the citrus juices and peel. Some Belgian Ale yeast and some grassiness. Not sure if it is the Mosaic Hops that bug me a little in this one (with those grass notes), as the Citra and Cascade I like. Other than that, not a bad juicy IPA.
