Pours a hearty black with a short head and nice lacing. Biscuity aroma; Flavor is earthy with a bit of licorice. Smooth with no aftertaste.

Sampled on draft at the Bitter End. Pours a blackened brown with a small, light-tan head and remarkable lacing. Aroma is chocolate and roasted malt. Subtle, but good for the style. Noble hops, caramel and chocolate dominate the flavor. Smooth and meduim-bodied with a clean, crisp finish. A great beer.
