Somewhat more bitter than I remember it the first time I had this beer. Dark brown color. Nice head that disappated fairly quickly. (Sadly, my last brew ever consumed at the Bison Pub as they’re closing it to go fully wholesale!!) NOTE: Yesterday I found half a case of 22oz. bottles of Chocolate Stout from the days when the previious owner used to have bottling parties and we’d get a case in payment. This must be OVER 10 years old. Usually when you hear of beer being aged its Bigfoot, or something else with lots of hops. I have to tell you this wasn’t bad! Carbonation was all there, though the head fell pretty fast. Any hops that were there are pretty much gone. Dark malts and the actual chocolate is still there.
