Clear dark, dark ruby, tanned foam head. Little aroma, little bit sweet in taste, malty for the rest. Not all that great as the advertisement in shop suggested. (Velp 201605)

A weak schwartzbier from Germany. A black pour, but both aroma and flavour are somewhat muted when compared to other beers of the style. Easy to drink, but then, so is water.

A light mahogany colored beer with a small frothy textured, white head that rises briefly above. It does present a medium sized soapy ringlet. The nose seems a bit skunked. Not very pleasant. The tasting is a light bodies sweet malt. Not much else.

Aroma is rather typical of a lager, not too strong and not exactly promising, but it does have a fruity undertone. It pours a dark chocolaty brown with a thick, if not persistent, tan head. Flavor started out a little weak, but as I drank more it became a little more mouth-filling. It is malty with a spicy undertone and hints of smoke and chocolate. Texture is smooth and just a little tingly, a tad watery but still more than acceptable.
