Sampled on 12/26/2008. This pilsner pours a deep orange gold color from a 33cl bottle. Large sized white foamy head with good retention and nice lacing. The aroma is cereal and grainy, some floral hops. A medium bodied pilsner. The malts are grainy and cereal. The hops are floral and quite spicy. It starts dry and finishes even drier. Nice carbonation. Nice spicy middle. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is crisp and very dry. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

330 ml capped bottle, 5.0 % ABV. Poured a slight hazy golden-orange colored Pils with a generous three fingers white creamy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Good carbonation. Superb lacing. The aroma is sweet malts, floral and resinous hops, notes of honey. The flavour is sweet malts, citrussy hops, spicy with a touch of pepper. The mouthfeel is slight crispy and smooth. This light to medium bodied Pils has a long hoppy bitter finish. This Pils from Emilia Romagna in Italy is a very nice pleasure. A charming Pils.

A soft pour fills my 25cl tulip glass to the rim with three fingers of a frothy, pale tan colored head. The beer has a nice gold copper hue to it that shows a lightly hazed, full gold color when held up to the light. The aroma has a maltiness to it that makes me think of a well made Bohemian pilsner. Sort of caramelized malt, perhaps a hint of butterscotch as well as a dry toasty grain note. The hops aren't overly expressive, but do provide a soft spiciness, and a hint of herbal notes, though this is definitely more on the spicy side of the spectrum at this point.
Lightly sweet up front, this is quickly cut by a lively carbonation and a dry, herbal, hop bitterness in the finish. This is fairly light bodied, more in line with a German Pilsener, but does have some malt texture to it. This has a touch of buttery malt to it in the middle as well as a faint, toffee like character. There is definitely a nice herbal hop character that runs throughout the flavor profile. The hop notes are herbal and a touch pine like up front, it picks up a bit of spiciness and even some pepper through the middle and into a long, spicy finish.
This is a nice beer, I like that the hop character is still so expressive. I would have really like to try this fresh as I have a feeling both the malt and hop character was more expressive and interesting.

Pours out in a hazy golden colour with a small white foam. Fresh grassy hops in the aroma with touches of dough and peaches. Medium-bodied with strong notes of crisp bitter grassy hops with undertones of cereals, pepper, pale biscuity malts and yellow fruits. Long bitter and crisp finish of wet grass, pepper and cereals. Very nice Pils!
