Tasted at the 2004 Pizza Port Strong Ale Fest. Medium gold color, very cloudy. Medium sized head. Aroma is malty, fruity and sweet. A medium bodied Weizenbock. Malts are fruity and sweet. Lots of banana and clove flavor. Nicely balanced. A medium sweet weizenbock. Smooth taste. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is sweet.

This weizen bock pours with a muddy orange-amber body topped by a medium thick head with some lacing. The aroma is simply great. It’s sweet with nice banana notes, good clove notes and a nice yeastiness. The flavor is slightly sweet yet slightly sour with clove notes, a touch of banana, nice yesty notes and a little bitterness. Medium to full bodied, warming and slightly dry.
