Almost black in color with a deep ruby hue, this rich malty Czech lager has a light roasted malt flavor without the associated bitterness. A moderate level of “noble” hops provide just enough balance. This style of beer was popularized by the “U Fleků” brewery in Prague which has been in continuous operation since 1499.
