Pours a clean light-golden colour with a big frothy white cap, very long lasting with lots of thick creamy lace. Pils malt aromas with some light cereal sweetness. The hops really show more in the taste with a pretty big bite in the finish. Yes, very bitter and dry. Cereal notes again with the grassy hops over the sweet notes. Metallic hints. Other than that, a pretty bitter Pilsner. One would think this is American.

The beer pours a translucent pale straw gold colour with a generous white bubbly head which didn’t last all that long. The aroma is grainy malt, wet grass, and herbal hops. The mouthfeel is thin to medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is bitter leather, with notes of grass. The taste kills this! If the can didn't say brewed in Germany on it, I would have sworn this was a North American Macro product (Molson/Labatts/Coors/Miller/Anheuer-Busch)
The name of the brewery on the can is 'Berliner Pilsenert Brauerie GmbH' but the address matches that of the 'Brauerei Schultheiss' -

Bottled. Golden colour, foamy white small head. Malty hayish aroma with some mild hints of saltyness. Hoppy and malty flavour in a good balance. Wellbalanced and pleasant.
