Comes out of the tap almost Guinness-like: opaque coffee brown with a thick, persistent, fine-bubbled light tan head. Aroma is not strong, but has a good roast malty component and a hint of licorice. Flavor has a robust smoky malt component plus notes of licorice, molasses and subtle caramel. Exceptionally smooth texture has average texture, not a lot of fizz. Still, a decent little Scottish stout.

hold your breath, come with me .. this was a bit of a disappointment, i guess i am spoiled on US impy stouts ... good roast quality ... low foam .. great label (tap handle) ... honestly a bit boring, easy to drink, but wheres the beef, no real uniqueness ... i am really happy i tried it but what else ...

Draught@O'Malleys, Vasa. Close to black colour with a small beige head. Aroma is smoked wet wood, some roasted malts, mild sweet fruityness as well as some chocolate. Flavour is chocolate, roasted malts, mild smoked wet wood, ashes and some mild raisins and riped fruits as well.
