This is our ode to an ancient tale of the wolf! Where wolfs were seen as the mystic wind flowing through the golden fields of barley. As wolves hunt in the hours of the golden light at dusk and dawn, we hunt for the golden barley selected from our own malting house. To ensure that fresh and sweet taste for our 8.6 Gold. 8.6 Gold is powerful at first sight, but has a sweet, caramel-like finish. Its aroma is fruity and hoppy with tones of roasted nuts, honey, blossom and chamomile. Get a taste of the inner wolf. You’ll see, it’s pure gold.

500 ml can, from a minimarket in Funchal. ABV is 6.5%. Clear golden to orange colour, moderate white head. Sweetish aroma of malts, a hint of soap. The flavour is a bit on the sweet side, notes of malts, sugar and some alcohol, a slight fruitiness helps the drinkability.
