Lots of hype surrounding this beer, sold out at Lugarno Cellars the day it arrived, guys at my work couldn't buy it anywhere, limited release for a limited time, etc., etc. Then suddenly.....it reappears. Into a pint glass. Well, it looks a treat. Shiny golden beer with medium fine bubbles and a large white fluffy head. Nose is fruit salad with pine needles. Viscous mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Taste is bitter, finish is earthy and dry with late pepper and warming alcohol. A bit unbalanced, the fruit in the aroma doesn't really appear in the taste. It's good but not great.
