Our Cinnamon Raisin Commodore is truly a story of experimentation. Originally a gold-medal winning American stout first born in our R&D program, our brewers developed a new variation, adding cinnamon and raisins to this dark, bittersweet brew. The result is just the right amount of sweet and spice, with roasty maltiness at the helm.

12 oz bottle. Pours dark brown black with a medium creamy brown head that retains well and laces the glass.
The aroma is sweet brown sugar, cinnamon and fruit with some chalky roast.
The flavor is sweet sugary fruits and cinnamon with lots of heavy acidic and chalky bitter roast. The mouthfeel is medium bodied and a bit watery.
Overall, the sweet and heavy roast didn't mix well.
