Ballarat Gold is a rich, malty ale produced with Pale and Munich malts produced in Ballarat. It is a golden amber colour with malty / biscuity characters in the aroma and palate. This beer is made with North American hop varieties and has a citrus aroma. It finishes with soft bitterness balancing the malty palate.

Nice gold, yellow colour. White head that fades, and good CO2. Great aromas of citrus/fruity hops, with a sweet, caramelly malt note. Excellent APA flavours; in the same vein as JS Golden Ale, so I think Amarillo is the contributor here. Full body, crisp finish & medium/firm bitterness. A good refreshing ale, of which I had several at The Bended Elbow in Ballarat.
